The Blue Line project was designed as a maritime training centre having the form of a ship`s bow in order to be carried out specific exercises.
The metal structure (the ship’s bow) was placed on land in the CERONAV Training Base near the PSI polygon and weighs 42.6 t.
The metal structure was divided so as to include:
- a chain locker
- a bosun store
- the control room
- the anchor and mooring system composed of: anchor/mooring winch electrically operated, two anchors, anchor chain, mooring ropes, bollards and fairleads rollers.
